How many events can an Alaska student enter?
Members can typically enter up to three competitive events at the Alaska State Leadership Conference, in addition to Recognition events like the Barbara James Service Award. Check with your chapter advisor for specific schedule conflicts.
Where do I find official event rubrics and study lists?
Official guidelines with rating sheets, textbook references, dress codes, and supply lists are published directly at hosa.org/guidelines.
How do competitors qualify for the International Leadership Conference (ILC)?
The top 3 medalists (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) in each chartered event at the Alaska State Leadership Conference qualify to represent Alaska at the annual HOSA International Leadership Conference.
How are online tests administered?
Preliminary objective knowledge exams are administered online under advisor/school proctoring prior to SLC using the official Alaska Online Testing Portal.
